Honour your Self. Worship your Self. Meditate on your Self. God dwells within you as you : Swami Muktanand
Entire universe is the playground of Chitti Shakti, the all encompassing force behind everything we see and that, which we cannot see. Chitti Shakti manifests itself in innumerable forms and ways.
Everything in the universe, right or wrong, left or right, up or down, light or dark, good or bad has the Chitti power behind it. For a seeker who has understood and experienced the true nature and power of Chitti, there is no discrimination. When we see Chitti, the force behind everything, there is no question and hence no answer.
To be one with Chitti, we need to retrain our Mind. The Mind works on division and distinction and is dominated by Ego, our worldly identity. Meditation is the only tool to transcend the Ego and experience Chitti behind all. But to do this, Grace of Guru is must. Without the grace of Guru, it is impossible to break the vicious cycle of Sanchit Karma and Prarabdh. With the Power of Guru, what you could achieve in several lifetimes, can be achieved in a moment.
I am obliged by the higher consciousness to share my understanding and experiences of the journey from I, Me and Myself to Nothing & Everything.
1. Entire World is the playground of Chitti. Be One with it : Wise people see the world as the play of Chitti Shakti, the Universal Consciousness. Modern science call it the vibratory field of energy. Chitti is both ordinary and extraordinary. The world from the Chitti may assume different forms and shapes but it is always one with Chitti. All giving and taking, are the expansion of Chitti. She assumes infinite form withing herself and then expands in mysterious ways into all forms. Comprehending this mysticism of the universal energy is behind the reach of our small mind. The part cannot comprehend the whole.
2. Your Goal is not to fight the Mind. But to witness the Mind and Transcend : Mind is our best friend and the worst enemy. Without mind there is no Sadhana, no Guru and No Eternal Mind. Mind creates the body and through body we experience the wow effect of Chitti’s play. The real goal of a spiritual seeker is to befriend the mind and use it a platform for experiencing higher consciousness. When we fight the mind, we weaken our most important resource.
3. Meditation is a destructive and not constructive process : Meditation is to go inside and destroy all that you think you are but you are not. All things with which you associate yourself, must we destroyed with meditation. If we are creating something new with meditation, it is something else. Be Aware. Peace comes with being light and not with statements and beliefs.
4. We get what we Meditate on : Mind is an expert in wandering. It can fix itself on numerable things and give you an illusion of peace and tranquility. Anything ( thought, things, names, security) that is temporary, only gives temporary peace. Once the situation changes, chaos rules again. Everlasting peace comes from eternal energy of Guru. Be Aware.
The highest purpose of meditation is to expand the awareness about Chitti and its mysterious ways of working and be comfortable with it.
5. Guru is the human embodiment of God : A true Guru awakens the inner shakti of the disciple and make him reveal in the bliss of the Self. Guru understands the real world and possesses full knowledge of Chitti Shakti. He can lead the disciple to the vision of God without severe asceticism and the experience of solitude right into people’s houses. He shows us the spiritual path in the midst of the chaotic world. Through Sadhana, Shaktipaat and conscious Manta, Guru burns up the inner dirt in the fire of the yoga and remoulds the mind & body for higher consciousness and divine grace.
6. The root of all attainment and everlasting peace is the pleasing of Guru : For our limiting mind, it is impossible to comprehend the infinite worlds, infinite plays of Chitti affecting us in one way or the other. Only with the Grace of Guru, our mind and body start transforming in real sense. The Guru gets pleased only when the disciple attains perfection and becomes the Guru. His only purpose is to give what he has received from the Chitti Shakti, eternal peace and love.
7. On the path of Enlightenment, renounce only the sense of differentiation : As long as possession and renunciation controls you, you will still be bound to the world. On the path of spiritual development, nothing needs to be renounced forcibly. As our understanding of the Chitti’s play deepen, consciousness transcends all that is not helpful for ascension. Things which we value a lot ( position, food, fame, possessions) become immaterial. At the higher level, even the questions of right or wrong, good or bad, life or death, pleasure or suffering, vanishes into thin air. All becomes the play of Chitti and the sense of differentiation goes to nothingness. The world remains as it is but your world changes, totally.
8. Love is the final answer : Love is not an emotion which we experience in various relationships. It is the creative force of Chitti Shakti to play in infinite ways. It is an inner experience and purely not dependent on outside world. Creative force of Chitti is the love without the boundaries of desires, cravings, attachments and conditions. True love only expands.
Adi Guru Shankaracharya says that everything happens by virtue of the existence of the conscious self (the God). To live with the understanding that universal consciousness plays in the functions of every part of our lives, in every movement of our inner and world and to remain serene with this mystic world is the path and goal of human life.
Happy Journey to All Seekers
